ABOUT THE MUSEUM

JGL Pharmacy Museum is a specialised museum where the Croatian and world history of pharmacy is presented in a modern way. I had the privilege of collaborating with acclaimed designer Veronika Uravić Čolak, who was responsible for the branding. Her insightful suggestions were important in enabling me to effectively translate the brand's core values into a dynamic and contemporary digital experience.

THE SERPENTINE SCROLL

The Pharmacy Museum's website, embraces the snake motif that symbolizes the field of pharmacy. This theme is brought to life through an innovative sideways scroll on the permanent exhibit page, creating a snaky, serpentine navigation experience. As visitors explore the exhibit, the sideways scroll guides them along a winding path, much like a snake's movement. This design choice not only adds visual intrigue but also enhances the storytelling aspect of the museum's content. The snaky scroll serves as a metaphorical journey through the history and evolution of pharmacy, reflecting the museum's mission and identity. The integration of this unique scrolling feature demonstrates a thoughtful approach to design, where form and function intertwine to create an immersive and memorable user experience. It's a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the rich heritage of the pharmacy world.

A CREATIVE JOURNEY

The Pharmacy Museum project was a creative journey that allowed for the exploration of innovative design techniques, such as the serpentine scroll.
